I called this 7/3 for corrosion and rim dents. It has a lettered edge. The coin came from the Sam Thurman collection of cud large cents. He purchased it 9/14/91 from Dothan A-1 Coins 10/10/06

A nice looking coin despite the minor rim bumps. It is a late die state with the obverse cud at k8-9. It is the letter edge variety and has choice color. The coin came from the Sam Thurman collection of cud large cents. He purchased it 1/10/92 from Bill Noyes. It will now reside in my collection for many years!

I guess I would call this a G5/3. It is the "fallen 4" variety which is obvious why. It has a lettered edge. The coin came from the Sam Thurman collection of cud large cents. It weighs 178 grains. 10/10/06
