This is a solid early cent. It is a late die state with the obverse cud at k5 touching the bust. It too came from Sam Thurman's collection of cud varieties. He picked it up from Tom Reynolds 3/14/85.

This is one of my nicest early date cents. It is a late die state with the obverse cud at k2:30. The field near the cud also has a couple of arching die cracks that can be seen in the pics. Again, this coin came from the Sam Thurman collection of large cents. He purchased it from Pen Hall at Coins & Such 12/88. It will remain in my collection for a long time!
