1855 N9 VLDS
|
1855 N9 terminal state?
EAC grade probably G6 or so. I showed this to Bob Laforme. He thinks it is later than state g. Grellman said he would need to examine a higher grade coin to be sure? Not sure what that means since I only know of this coin one other that Fred Borcherdt owns. His appears to be a twin to this coin.

1855 N10
|
1855 N10
Grellman called this one a MS63 which is my nicest large cent. It is a 11.5 stars variety which
means star one is partially clogged and star 6 is completely clogged by grease. Ex Tom Hart. The obverse and reverse
are mismatched colors. Grellman notes that he has seen many like this. They were stored in cabinets for long periods
of time without being turned or moved causing the underneath side to remain full mint red while the other side toned.
